A Ladybug Party
Today Brendon and I worked in the back yard. Well - Bren worked and I helped. The grass had not been mowed in over a month so I was worried there might be dragons hiding in the bushes. To our happy suprise there were no dragons - but about a million billion ladybugs. I took lots of pictures. And when I'm done with grades tomorrow I will figure out how to post pictures on this thing.
I was a little worried that the little ladies might get caught in the mower - but they are very clever and they flew away or maybe dug a bit deeper into the grass.
It's nice to know that there are friends all about the house :)

our house is a very very very fine house
We have no cats in the yard. But I love it still. We have been unpacking and pulling weeds and planning on what photos will go where. I'm so happy we are here. Everyday when I drive home from work I have to drive past the apartment where we used to live. And I am so happy we don't live there anymore!

Moving on UP
If you know me at all you know that I've been driving myself mad getting ready for leaving this dumb apartment. I can't wait to leave. As I sit here Brendon is still asleep and I'm trying to waste time till I can wake him up.
Today we get all of our new beautiful appliances. A fridge, dishwasher, oven, microwave, washer and dryer. A FRONT LOADER! I hate how the washer in the apartment distroys everything it touches. i will be so glad to be able to do washing that really works.
And a wonderful thing that seems so small. It's good weather, cool but not cold. Seeing as how it was 100 earlier this week I'm very greatful for a real fall day.

A New Place - A New Journey
Today I received the keys to my very first home. I look forward to building my home with my husband and future – cat, dog and someday children. As I think about the power that is held in a key, I am amazed by how much time and effort goes into getting such a tiny object. Brendon and I have been dreaming about a home for a very long time. A place to call our own. This will be a day that we both remember for the rest of our lives.
